Hi Sweets!
I hope each and every one of you had a wonderful Valentine's day! I have always loved Valentine's day no matter my relationship status at the time. Valentine's day is about love & all kinds of it. Not just that between a couple. Also, how could you not love a holiday with so much pink? Here's a quick recap of my day..
As I've mentioned before I am on my office's event committee (remember the
holiday party). We decided to make these cute little goody bags to pass out to everyone in the office. It was a hit - it felt like elementary school again. See those cake pops - my friend Mary made 200+ in her spare time. She's an angel, they were delicious!
About a month ago out of the blue, I decided I wanted to plan Valentine's day. I of course checked with the BF and he was fine with it, though he did admit that yesterday he felt a little weird about it. I just wanted a low key evening where we could relax and enjoy each others company. I cleaned the apt up, lit too many candles for a tiny apartment, set the table, and ordered take out from our favorite North End restaurant,
Panza. I had everything waiting for us when he arrived. I even made a super cheesy but equally awesome Valentine's play list (if you have Spoitfy you can listen to it
here). He showed up with some gorgeous flowers and a bottle of champagne. It was perfection.

However the best part was saved for later in the evening. On one of my favorite blogs,
A Cup of Jo, I saw a post about a
star projector and I just had to have it to add to our evening. Let me tell you, this little star projector was the bane of my existence one day. It shipped from Hong Kong and came in a million little pieces - I built the entire thing, including the electrical wiring of it. The BF completely loved it so it was well worth my hard work.

How did you all celebrate Valentine's day? Did you go out? Stay in? Hang with friends, family, or have a night to love yourself?
