Pink Party Success

Welcome back to reality, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was pretty low key with the exception of the Pink Party - I spent time with the BF, and my sister and handsome nephew. Oh, and I finished the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy (but that's for another post).

Anyways, the Pink Party - it was a great night filled with friends and support towards the Susan G. Komen 3-day. We raised a total of $850 dollars towards the cause! A larger than life thank you is owed to everyone that came, the Estate for providing us with the perfect venue, and my Haus Boy for creating a non-stop dance party. We couldn't have done it with out all of you and we are already looking forward and planning the next Blondes for Boobies event.

Here are some photos from the evening:

The blondes behind team Blondes for Boobies
Delta Zetas in our favorite color - pink!
I have the greatest co-workers/friends

Some cute DJ I hired
Donations table
Bestie wishing us luck!

I also made these cocktail menus/signs for additional decor...

Here are a few more photos from the event.

Blog friends - if you have any great fundraising ideas I would love to hear them, I know how creative you all are :)

xo,
Carolyn

Looks like such a great event! Glad to hear it went so well! Perhaps try pairing up with a restaurant? I know a few offer fundraising through programs where you're given a flyer and anyone who dines in that restaurant on a certain day can have 20% of their bill allotted for your organization/charity.

This makes me SO happy. I just randomly stumbled upon your blog (you had me at sparkle and glitter). I actually have a new found passion for breast health & awareness after I had a breast tumor removed a couple months ago. It was so random & scary, but thankfully it was benign. I know so many other women aren't as lucky. So thank you so much for raising money to help find a cure for them! I'm glad to see that the event went well. Plus, who doesn't like an event they can wear pink to?!

The most successful fundraisers I've seen have been silent auctions and fashion shows. :) Best of luck!

Gabi - great idea! I don't know why I didn't think of that. I know I did that a few times with my sorority at Northeastern. Perhaps a pinkberry/red mango one :)

Mademoiselle Michael, I am just so happy you stumbled upon my blog, because in turn I got to find your darling blog! Wow, what a scare, thank gosh you were so fortunate. A fashion show would be so much fun to put together! I will be putting that on my idea list for sure :)
