Cape Cod

I have been lucky enough to be on vacation down the Cape with my family for the past week.  I grew up going down the Cape and I truly feel at peace and home whenever I'm there.  Its comforting, relaxing, and invigorating.  From morning walks to nightly ice cream I know I'll always hold Cape Cod near and dear to my heart.  Here are some of my favorite photos from the week!

Mason Jar Madness

Speaking of organization, here's my latest endeavor. Mason jars. It's a perfectly pretty way to display my makeup.

What are your favorite organization tips?

iPhone organization

As you may know, organization is something I find absolutely crucial to my life. If my physical world is organized so is my mental world. The other day I was thinking of the items and places I come in contact with most and how I can make changes to have less clutter and more clarity.

Of course I was thinking about this while I was texting and sending emails and bing it came to me. My digital life, I need to clean up my digital life. This means my iPhone, iPad, MacBook, etc.I have a so many apps in so many folders, my iScreens practically look like a department store!

My first step in my digital organization has been to clear out my home screen so only the essentials are on it, the second screen a bit more, and the third screen holds everything else.  Take a look...

Since this change I've really found my to-do lists are being completed faster and have felt not nearly as overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that is part of my digital world. Try it out - it's a great feeling! It also has been reminding me to live in the now. After all, real life is infinitely better than Facebook.

Father's Day Fun!

Hope you all had a great weekend celebrating all of the amazing Dads out there! I spent Sunday taking a morning walk by the water with the family, enjoying BBQ, adoring my handsome nephew, and laying in the sun attempting to take my skin from translucent to just pale (with SPF30 of course).  How did you celebrate Daddy-O?

We love you, Daddy!
Oh and look at this cuteness. Who doesn't love a freshly cut buzz cut?
